No, really. This will be our summer.
This Will Be Our Summer. Records was founded in March 2011 in Athens, GA. We believe that artists should be treated with fairness and honesty by their record label, and that fans shouldn't have to be cynical about the people from whom they buy records. Music should be fun.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Please don't. While we would love to put out lots and lots of records, it simply isn't possible. Our resources, financial and temporal, are committed for the next couple years. Because of this, your resources probably aren't well spent by sending us things.
By all means. Consider this a blanket license for podcasts. And thanks for drawing attention to our artists. Some rules of thumb: Don’t use more than two songs from the same album on any one podcast. Never use more than half of the tracks from one release in any number of podcasts. Please mention that your listeners can buy the album at OurSummerRecords.com and see performances by the artist you feature.
Yes. Please don't post more than two songs from any release. Always give your readers a highlighted link back to us. At the end of the day we can’t do what we do without selling some records. Blogs, in our view, help us do this, just like radio play would. If you would like to be included on our special mailing list of bloggers who receive links to electronic demos, please send us an email with a link to your blog and any traffic stats you might have.
